Cross Creek Market is a 38-acre mixed-use development in Cedar Park, TX. The masterplan includes 600 apartment units, a dual-branded hotel concept, and 61,000 SF of restaurants, retail, and entertainment concepts. Cordova acted as master developer for the project and was the vertical developer for the retail portion. Tenant’s include Hopdoddy Burgers, the Grove Wine Bar, and First Watch. The retail was built with a build and hold strategy, with a significant basis reduction from multifamily and hotel land sales.

Bee Caves West is a 31,000 SF neighborhood shopping center located in Westlake Hills, the highest income suburb of Austin. The Project’s permitting required an overlapping approval process with the City of Austin, Travis County and TCEQ regulatory agencies. Bee Caves West is home to the original location of Austin-favorite The Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen, which was named after the massive oak grove that shades the multi-level patio at the center of this project. Bee Caves West won the Austin Business Journal’s “Retail Project of the Year” in 2009.

Partner
Chris is the Founding Partner of Cordova Real Estate Ventures. Chris plays a key role in sourcing opportunities, entitling property, leasing and operations. He has deep local relationships and a reputation of following through with meticulous attention to detail. Previously, Chris co-founded Capital City Partners where he led the development of over 600,000 sf of retail space, 375,000 sf of industrial space, 120,000 sf of office space and 131 residential lots in the Austin MSA. Prior to Capital City Partners Chris was a project partner at Hill Partners, Inc (now “HPI”) and also served as a project manager for a civil engineering firm specializing in private development. Chris holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. Chris has nearly 3 decades of experience in leasing, entitlements, design, construction and serving as a fiduciary to related parties on real estate investments in Central Texas.

Partner
Graham is a Partner at Cordova Real Estate Ventures and a veteran of the real estate industry in Central Texas. Graham has been involved in hundreds of transactions throughout his career. He has extensive site selection experience representing tenants, landlords, and clients such as JP Morgan Chase, 7-11, Outback Steakhouse, Front Burner Restaurants, Kimco, Lincoln Properties, InvenTrust, Brandywine, Endeavor Real Estate Group, Slate Residential, Trammel Crow, and Manifold Development. Graham is also active in the acquisition of land for development and income producing properties as a general partner for local investors. Graham started his career in real estate with Weitzman after graduating from Baylor University.
Jordan Smith
Partner
Jordan is a Partner at Cordova Real Estate Ventures. His local market relationships and an eye for recognizing inefficiencies are key to identifying opportunities. Previously, Jordan spent five years as a Principal at Zydeco Development Corporation, developing over 500,000 sf of industrial and creative office. Prior to joining Zydeco directly, Zydeco was a client of Jordan’s at Aquila Commercial, where Jordan provided project leasing services on an approximate one million square foot portfolio of industrial and office assets and represented industrial tenants in their real estate transactions. Jordan began his real estate career at Capital City Partners, assisting in the development of a wide range of product types including retail, office, industrial, and vertical mixed-use. Jordan graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and a B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
